Your Path at Clara CFO
At Clara CFO, we set every CFO up to win from day one. During your first 3 to 6 months, you’ll go deep on how we serve clients: our tools, our frameworks, and the standards that keep our clients coming back.
This isn’t a trial period. It’s how we make sure you have everything you need to walk into a client relationship with confidence. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced CFOs on strategic projects, contribute directly to client deliverables, and build fluency with our full suite of resources before taking on your own portfolio of client relationships.

Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking experienced finance leaders who:
Have 10+ years of financial leadership experience (Finance Director, Controller, or similar). CPA preferred, but not required.
Are skilled in financial strategy, forecasting, cash flow management, and operational finance.
Enjoy working closely with business owners and leadership teams to drive results.
Are proactive, analytical, and strong communicators who can translate financial data into actionable insights.
Have experience with EOS, scaling businesses, or service-based industries.
Are comfortable working in a Fractional/Consulting capacity with multiple clients.
Are experienced with Quickbooks Online. Knowing Net Suite or other ERP accounting systems is a plus.

Here’s what our process looks like for active candidates:
Step 1: Apply on LinkedIn – Submit your resume. We review every application personally and respond within two weeks.
Step 2: Case Study – Candidates will complete a practical case study project that reflects the kind of work you’d do at Clara CFO. This is your chance to show us how you think and for you to get a feel for our clients and our process.
Step 3: Interviews – You’ll have two to three conversations with different members of our team. These are as much an opportunity for you to get to know us as they are for us to get to know you.
