Hannah Smolinski, CPA

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Hannah Smolinski is a CPA and the founder of Clara CFO Group, a virtual CFO and consulting services firm providing small businesses with financial clarity.

Her experience working for one of the world’s largest accounting firms inspired her to bring that level of financial expertise to the small business community through financial strategy, best practices, and knowledge to realize their missions.  

Hannah received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and her Masters of Professional Accountancy from University of Washington.

    Laura Shiel, CPA, CFA

    Co-owner and Chief Operating Officer

    Laura is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with a breadth of experience ranging from public accounting to investment management and corporate finance.

    She has a deep passion for small businesses rooting back to her family’s rhododendron nursery founded in the 1950s. As a co-owner at Clara CFO Group, Laura is the company’s Integrator and leads the Operations team. She also loves serving our amazing clients as a Virtual CFO.  

    Laura received her undergraduate degree and Masters of Professional Accountancy from University of Washington.

     

    Luketan Bartley, CPA

    Fractional CFO

    Luketan is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a strong foundation built at several Fortune 500 companies. Her background spans corporate accounting, financial strategy, and operational finance.

    She’s energized by helping small businesses grow and thrive while partnering with businesses to simplify their financials, bring clarity to performance, and stay focused on long-term goals.

    Luketan is a licensed CPA and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.

     

    Jessica Brown

    Administrative Assistant

    Jessica is an experienced Administrative Assistant with over 10 years of supporting executive teams and ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently.

    With a passion for client connection and a sharp eye for organization, Jessica plays a key role in creating smooth workflows and a positive client experience at Clara CFO Group. Her dedication to helping both clients and team members stay on track supports the firm’s mission of providing clarity and excellence to small businesses.

    Jessica’s background in administrative operations spans a range of industries, giving her a versatile and thoughtful approach to problem-solving and service.

    Kanisha Katzenberger

    Social Media Assistant

    Kanisha supports brand visibility and growth through digital content and creative strategy. Since joining the team in 2021, she has led efforts in YouTube management, newsletter creation, presentation design, and social media scheduling.
    With a background in content marketing, Kanisha previously managed event promotions and marketing strategy. She is proficient in platforms like Canva, YouTube, and analytics tools, and enjoys turning ideas into polished, engaging visuals.
    She finds inspiration in Clara CFO’s mission-driven work and is proud to be part of a woman-led team that empowers small businesses with clarity, integrity, and purpose.
