Rehiring Employees with the PPP Loan

Many business owners who received Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan are facing the challenge of rehiring employees after they've been laid off or furloughed. Employees receiving unemployment may be reluctant to return to work with extra unemployment benefits of $600/wk. How do you handle this as a small business owner? I called on my friend and HR expert, Niki Ramirez, of HR Answers.Org to help answer the question. Niki and I put on a webinar for my clients to discuss the HR aspects of the CARES Act. She helps us address this specific issue as well as other related HR topics. This is a short snippet from our webinar, but if you want to hear more from Niki, be sure to subscribe to HR Answers here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9xyPi1x8Sh51c-rJyN95A Reach out to Niki directly at: https://www.hranswers.org/ If you want to explore what a virtual CFO could do for your business, check out our site at: https://claracfo.com/ If you want to know more about your PPP loan, be sure to watch our other PPP videos: How to get your PPP Loan Forgiven: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfbQm6ppEkc&list=PLUcXTCG4ArAnfsFvPs0UPsheHHaMOn0OT If you didn't get the PPP planning spreadsheet, get that here: https://clara-cfo-group-llc.ck.page/d5ef5d9b84 Disclaimer: This video is intended for educational purposes and should not be taken as legal or tax advice.
