Some of you may be participating in fraudulent activity or being directly SCAMMED by criminals taking advantage of the stimulus programs.
Instagram and Telegram/What’s App “Hackers” are helping people apply for a loan and asking for percentages of the loan in return. If anyone is trying to get you to do this, RUN FAR AWAY! These "ppp hacks" and "eidl hacks" are likely going to get you as a legitimate business owner in trouble!
Email scams are rampant too. Only emails from sba.gov are legitimate. Do not give any personal identifying information unless you are SURE you are emailing a legitimate representative of the SBA. Check your loan numbers with the representative – they should initiate the number, you check it. this goes for the bank too.
